Durian Lens Terms of Use
Effective date: July 18, 2026
By using Durian Lens, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
This page supplements the product-specific functionality and responsibility boundaries for Durian Lens. Apps obtained through the App Store are also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If this page conflicts with non-waivable applicable law or Apple’s standard license terms, those requirements control.
Purpose of the app
Durian Lens provides durian-buying guidance based on exterior evidence visible in an ordinary photo. It is not a laboratory test, food-safety inspection, quality certification, or purchase guarantee. The app cannot directly measure sweetness, dry matter, flesh thickness, number of locules, edible yield, aroma, or tapping sound from a photo.
Results may be affected by cultivar, origin, ripeness stage, postharvest handling, lighting, occlusion, camera angle, and differences between device cameras. You should combine the app’s guidance with your own observations, reliable seller information, and personal judgment when deciding whether to buy or eat a durian.
Safety and responsibility
If a durian shows obvious mold, leakage, an unusual odor, severe damage, or any other safety concern, do not rely on the app’s result alone. When appropriate, do not buy or eat the fruit and consult a qualified food professional or local authority.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Durian Lens is provided “as is.” The app does not warrant that an analysis will be complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose, and it does not guarantee the actual condition of the fruit when opened. The developer is not liable beyond what applicable law requires for purchase losses, quality differences, or indirect losses arising from reliance on the app’s guidance.
Acceptable use
You may not use the app for unlawful activities or attempt to damage, disrupt, or bypass the security mechanisms of the app or its third-party components. Third-party components are governed by their respective licenses.
Changes to these terms
